The number one thing people were interested in after watching this week’s video, judging by comments, was, “What was that SONG?”
Unfortunately, I didn’t have the link at first, because I lost track of it. Now I’ve found it, and although the name is of course, unpronounceable, it’s in the video description.

As an Icelander and a Climate crock-fan I would like to say that these are Dýravísur – which means Animal-quatrain and is about the Icelandic animals, and the first line is like this:
Hani, krummi, hundur, svín
hestur, mús, tittlingur,
galar, krunkar, geltir, hrín,
hneggjar, tístir, syngur.
Which translates to:
Cock, raven, dog, pig
horse, mouse, bunting
crow, croak, bark, wail
neigh, twitter, sing
Well, it doesn’t rime as well in translation 🙂 – But I’ll hope that these translations of what the animal “say” are right…

There are definitely too few who are alike us, willing to use time and effort to get the info of climate science out there. But my hope is that there will be more people in the future who are willing to fight these battles of getting the climate info into focus. I think that in some case people don’t really want to know about inconveniences like climate change, thus ignoring the vast amount of data out there about climate change – it can be hard work too… It’s not always on purpose (like with some of the deniers) but sometimes the general public just don’t want to bother knowing about the inconvenience of climate change. But we are hopefully doing something right, and hopefully getting more people to get interested too.
